What is Brightstar Buzz?

  • Brightstar Buzz is a music and culture television program that showcases many of up and coming, locally(and sometimes regionally)known musical acts from Philadelphia and the surrounding areas(but not limited to)such as Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties and the South Jersey area. These acts have already established themselves and are on the way to be known all over the world. In addition, the show also promotes the popular venues of Philly's nightlife. We cover acts from various popular genres such as alternative, metal, hard rock, punk, electronic, dance, hip hop and R&B.

When and where can I watch it?

You can watch brand new episodes Sunday evenings at 6:30pm

on PhillyCAM and older episodes Fridays at 12 midnight on Princeton TV.

When did it start and who was the first act?

The show premiered on March 5, 2017 and the first act featured was Solar Circuit performing live at The Grape Room.

Where is the show taped?

Brightstar Buzz is not taped in any particular studio or soundstage. It is a field production that is shot and recorded at various nightlife venues in the city of Philadelphia. The only studio aspect is the post production such as editing and audio. We have shot at the following venues:

Who produces Brightstar Buzz?

Brightstar Buzz is produced by TG Gainey Productions which is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 
It is the second television program the company has produced.

Are you selling any episodes on DVD?

Unfortunately we can not sell any episodes of the show for the home video market.
